Welcome, Mike Williams – CDA’s New Executive Director

BoxesCDA is proud to introduce and welcome our new Executive Director, Mike Williams, who took the helm as our fearless leader October 1st. Mike grabs the baton from our most recent Interim Executive Director, John Kabateck, who has helped CDA with our Legislative Advocacy Program (LAP) and temporarily led our organization after the great long-term leadership of Dan Bender.

Mike Williams comes to CDA with more than ten years of experience in association management, legislative and regulatory experience with transportation and logistics organizations and causes. Since 2011, he has served as Executive Director of Government Relations with the International Warehouse Logistics Association, and served as CEO of the Transportation and Renewable Energy Dialogue from 2008-11. Mike is familiar with such issues as taxes, regulations, workers’ comp and legal reform. He received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Fresno State in 1991.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Mike and his vast expertise and acumen assume this important leadership role for CDA during this important time for our industry,” said CDA President Rick Pople. “We have an unprecedented opportunity to take the reins as leaders in legislative and regulatory reform, membership growth and industry leadership in the Golden State, and Mike’s the person who will help guide us to that next level of success and achievement.”

2017 Legislative Session for CDA Members: The Good, the Bad & The Ugly

Through it all, CDA was on the front lines for you, making sure your voice was heard throughout.
