CONTACT GOVERNOR BROWN TODAY – STOP THE GAS TAX!

A few weeks ago, the Democrat majority (and one Republican) approved and sent to the Governor a $52 billion gas, diesel and sales tax hike and vehicle registration fee increase! CDA sent the attached letter to the Governor, urging him to OPPOSE this bad idea. While this embodies many elements of what the Governor wants, he needs to hear from as many of us – and others – today! The bill is on the Governor’s desk and he could sign it any day now!

CDA Lobby Day – May 24 – THE CDA Event of the Year!

CDA’s 2017 Lobby Day in Sacramento is about six weeks away – Wednesday, May 24!

This is THE CDA Annual Event of the Year (in place of our typical Conference) – the event every member and others should make a priority to attend. It will be an action-packed day in which you and our delivery industry will be involved and heard by YOUR legislators in the State Capitol.

 CDA’s Lobby Day will include:

·         Morning and Afternoon Visits with Your Legislators – our staff will schedule for you!

·         A terrific lunch program featuring some of California’s leading transportation leaders sharing and hearing from you

·         CDA’s Annual Meeting during lunch – CDA Update from President Rick Pople, election of officers, and more

·         A fabulous networking reception at the end of the day – food, beverages and mix-mingling with fellow members, state leaders and industry friends.
