We are excited to announce that registration is now open for the CDA 2023 Annual Meeting & Networking event on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 in Sacramento, the Must Attend Event of the Year!  This will be a great opportunity to get informed on key legislative matters in the courier industry that will impact your business and make your voice heard regarding the direction of the association, while participating in an open forum of Q&A with our expert panel of speakers.

It will feature our Keynote Speakers:  Vince Fong Assemblymember 34th District, (Kenote Lunch Speaker Transportation & Legislative Key Issues), Joy Rosenquist – Special Counsel, Littler & Paul Marron, Founder/Principal Marron Lawyers, APC (Labor & Employment Law).

This is THE CDA ANNUAL EVENT OF THE YEAR (in place of our typical Conference) – the event every member and others should make a priority to attend.  It will feature our Key Note Speakers Vince Fong Assemblymember 34th DistrictJoy Rosenquist – Special Counsel, Littler & Paul Marron – Founder/Principal Marron Lawyers.  Our panel of speakers will provide in depth analysis regarding the political landscape, labor law considerations, courier industry best practices and growing market trends to consider for 2023.

CDA’s 2023 Annual Meeting & Issue Update will include:

A terrific program featuring some of California’s leading transportation leaders sharing their insight and engaging with our members

We will be providing an event flyer in the coming weeks to share with others.  This will be a great opportunity to recruit new members and to help grow our voice, membership and strength.  Non-members will receive $99 off if they join at the event or their entry fee comped.  Again, this is THE CDA Main Event of the Year – every member should make this a priority to attend!

-Transportation & Legislative Key Issues

Assemblymember Fong will discuss the ban on new gasoline-powered cars by 2035, impact of independent contractors leaving the state due to AB 5 on the gig economy and last mile delivery considerations for 2023.  Additionally, he will discuss planned improvements for our roads and infrastructure that will not only increase safety, but provide jobs to our growing community.
